Father J. Ronald Knott is a priest of the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky. Ordained May 16, 1970, he has served as a home missionary, college teacher, campus minister, pastor, cathedral rector, traveling evangelist, homiletics instructor and archdiocesan vocations director. He is presently Director of the Institute for Priests and Presbyterates at Saint Meinrad School of Theology, a columnist for his diocesan newspaper, "The Record", and part-time campus minister at Bellarmine University in Louisville. Father Knott has had articles published in "America", "Church", "Seminary Journal", "The Priest", and "Pastoral Review". He has given major addresses at national conventions on church renovation, homiletics, presbyteral unity and vocations. He has presented more than 75 parish missions and retreats and has led more than 100 presbyteral convocations around the country and abroad. Father Knott holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Saint Meinrad School of Theology in Indiana and a Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Presbyterian Seminary in Chicago. He is the author of three collections of homilies: "An Encouraging Word" (1995), "One Heart at a Time" (1999) and "Sunday Nights" (2000). He is co-author of "Religious Communities in the Archdiocese of Louisville" (2002) as well as author of "Diocesan Priests in the Archdiocese of Louisville" (2001); "For the Record: Encouraging Words", Volumes I through IX (2003-2011); "Intentional Presbyterates" (2003); "From Seminarian to Diocesan Priest" (2005); "The Spiritual Leadership of a Parish Priest" (2007); "Intentional Presbyterates: The Workbook" (2007) and "A Bishop and His Priests Together" (2001). eBook editions of many of Fr.
